This event explained how to protect yourself and your property and showed what we have achieved as a group over the last year. Around 60 residents attended and many gave us positive feedback and suggestions. Our latest advice panels included ‘what you can do in one hour’ to significantly increase your awareness and protection. We also showed actual samples of kit that could be used to tackle surface water flooding in particular.
Our volunteer team listened to individuals concerns and these will help inform our future actions and annual updating of the flood plan. Anyone else who has comments or wishes to find out more is welcome to contact us via our email- see website contact details.
