Our street trees have been given a lift, improving the appearance of Conway Road and Severn Grove, and allowing light and visibility beneath. The works of crown lifting and trimming were the result of pressure from the Community Flood Plan team on the Council over the previous 18 months. Our team helped the contractor, TR3, by keeping residents informed of when to move cars and reserving spaces beneath trees. We are lucky to have large forest trees like limes which effectively keep us cooler in summer, absorb pollution, particulates and ground water, and improve our quality of life.
